By completing this digital form, the passenger declares that they have read, understood, and accepted the terms, conditions, services, and responsibilities associated with the purchase of their tour.
This document applies to services operated by Napo Wildlife Center and Yasuní Ecolodge. Hereinafter, Napo Wildlife Center will be referred to as “NWC”, Yasuní Ecolodge as “YEL”, and the client as the “passenger”.
If the passenger is traveling with a minor, under 18 years of age, the responsible adult declares acceptance of this document on behalf of the minor as well.
THE OPERATOR
NWC and YEL are committed to providing all offered and contracted services according to the passenger’s requirements, including accommodation, nature tours, guiding services, activities, and safety measures within the corresponding ecolodge.
Tourism services provided by NWC and YEL begin according to the meeting point or service contracted by the passenger. These services may start from Quito Airport for the connection to Coca, from Francisco de Orellana Airport in Coca to the private dock, or from the agreed land transportation arrival point to the private dock.
Upon arrival, the operator may make strategic stops, if necessary, between different means of transportation.
NWC and YEL shall not be held responsible and will not issue refunds for tours canceled due to flight delays or cancellations, strikes, natural disasters, weather conditions, government regulations, baggage loss, damages caused by third-party companies, or any other force majeure events.
NWC and YEL are not responsible for damage to electronic equipment, binoculars, video or photography cameras that may occur during activities carried out within the ecolodge. Such items remain under the sole responsibility of the passengers.
NWC and YEL shall not be held responsible if the passenger suffers a heart attack, stroke, or any illness. Likewise, NWC and YEL are not responsible for accidents caused by negligence on the part of the passenger who contracted the tourism services.
THE PASSENGER
I agree to respect and comply with all rules and regulations established in the protected area’s internal regulations for visitors and/or environmental interpretation activities, including signage, instructions from park rangers, guides, and other authorized personnel.
I understand that failure to comply with the provisions issued by the Ministry of the Environment may result in warnings or, if necessary, the immediate request to leave the Protected Natural Area.
I agree to treat all ecolodge staff with respect and courtesy at all times. NWC and YEL promote a positive and respectful environment; therefore, any inappropriate behavior may result in corresponding actions by the operator.
Being fully aware of the activities offered and carried out within the ecolodge, I assume all risks and consequences arising from such activities, releasing NWC and YEL from any liability or damages caused.
I understand that under no circumstances may I carry out activities without the presence of the guide assigned to the tour. If I do so, I will be solely responsible for any situation, accident, or consequence that may occur.
I declare that I must inform NWC or YEL of any illness, medical condition, allergy, physical limitation, or relevant health issue before starting the tour. If I fail to inform the operator of any pre-existing condition, NWC and YEL shall not be responsible for any consequences arising from such illness or condition.
I declare that I have read this responsibility agreement, that I have had the opportunity to ask any questions regarding its content, and that I freely accept its terms, fully understanding all its effects.
